2005 John Tyler ZinfandelWe’d love to hear from you. As our customers and fellow wine-lovers, we want to know what you think. Leave us a comment, a question, or share a story about your experience with the wine.

Awarded 89 points from the Wine Enthusiast.

“The vineyard is virtually in Dry Creek Valley, so it’s not surprising to find the briary, brambly intensity of that warm Sonoma appellation. It’s a good, lush, likeable Zin, brimming with wild berry, leather, tobacco and pepper spice flavors swimming in firm, dry tannins.”

If you have comments on any of our other wines. You can leave them too! We just wanted to hear what you thought.

I tasted the 2005 John Tyler Zinfandel in November 2009 at A Dozen Vintners and liked it enough to purchase a bottle. I brought it to a dinner party this evening and everyone enjoyed it very much - the best bottle of the evening. Lovely dark berry flavors with a hint of sweetness, and firm tannins. A beautiful wine. I hope to purchase more bottles soon.

  2. Hi Joseph- Glad to hear we were a hit at the dinner party and thanks for your comments!

After a great day of tasting @ ZAP, we were fortunate to have a bottle of your ‘05 with dinner. Our friends’ fine selection from the auction, had plenty of time to breathe, as we enjoyed your fine Zinfandel. John Tyler raised an already high bar Saturday. Thank you again.

  4. Hi David- Thanks so much for the feedback! Glad to hear that JT helped to make your dinner experience.
